The organisation is currently undergoing a major systems transformation as it continues to modernise and strengthen its finance function.
The Opportunity
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a high-performing finance team within a business of significant scale and complexity. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you'll take ownership of a broad and varied Senior Management Accountant portfolio within an organisation processing high volumes of transactional data across multiple business units and cost centres.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of weekly business performance reporting and P&L by function
- Preparation of revenue and cost journals across complex, high-volume data sets
- Variance reporting against budget and forecast
- Balance sheet ownership for your areas of responsibility, including accrued revenue and debtors
- Month-end close and general ledger account reviews
- Supporting ongoing improvements to financial reporting and systems
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or Senior Management Accountant within a large, complex, organisation
- Comfortable working with high transaction volumes and data from multiple sources
- Resilient, adaptable and comfortable operating in an evolving environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification preferred
- Experience working through systems or ERP transformation highly regarded
- $140,000–$160,000 + superannuation
- 4 days in office, 1 day flexible WFH
