A well-established, privately owned manufacturing and services business is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to be the finance "go-to" for their WA operation.
This is a genuinely standalone, business-facing role. You'll work hands-on with Operations, Sales and Contractors day to day — not just producing month-end reporting. The business wants a finance partner who understands the commercial and operational side of the business, not someone content to sit behind a desk removed from it.
The role:
- Act as the primary finance contact for the WA site, partnering closely with the General Manager, Operations, Sales and Contractors
- Full end-to-end management accounting, including project and labour recovery accounting
- Balance sheet reconciliations, month-end reporting and process improvement
- Confidently challenge and support operational decision-making — commercial backbone and credibility with senior stakeholders is essential
- Genuine day-to-day autonomy in the role
- CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years' post-qualification experience
- Background in manufacturing, industrial, contracting or project-based environments highly regarded
- Confident operating standalone and building strong relationships with non-finance stakeholders
- Experience with major ERP systems (SAP, Pronto, D365 or similar) an advantage
- Comfortable pushing back when required, and equally comfortable building trust with senior operational leaders
- $140,000–$160,000 + Super, dependent on experience
- On-site role with flexibility around hours by arrangement
- Genuine autonomy and a seat close to the business
