The Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial accounting function, including:
- Leading month-end close and preparing group financial reporting
- Preparing board-ready financial information and supporting the leadership team with analysis and insights
- Managing statutory compliance, including BAS, GST and payroll tax
- Reviewing and improving reconciliation processes across finance systems
- Liaising with internal stakeholders across the business to resolve queries and support decision-making
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards
About You
- CA/CPA qualified with minimum 5+ years' post-qualification experience
- Proven experience owning month-end close and reporting processes with minimal oversight
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and up-to-date understanding of relevant standards
- Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP/accounting systems
- Available to commit to the full length of the contract, with minimal notice period
- Based in Perth, with full working rights in Australia
