This is a hands-on position combining project administration and finance support. You’ll play a key role in maintaining costing accuracy, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring financial accuracy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare and submit invoices and claims
- Liaise with customers regarding purchase orders and updates
- Track project costs and assist with budget monitoring
- Set up and close jobs in the system
- Allocate costs to the correct projects
- Review WIP and flag any issues
- Support the team with project costing and admin tasks
- Ensure processes are followed correctly
- Assist with basic reporting on project performance
- Enter timesheets and maintain accurate records
- Proven experience in a similar administration or accounts role
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a commitment to quality
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Previous experience within mining, industrial, or project-based environments (highly regarded)
