About the Role
Reporting to the Group Procurement Manager, you’ll lead procurement and contract management activities across high-value goods, services, and works. Your focus will be on delivering value through strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and category planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle including tenders, negotiations, and contract execution
- Develop and implement long-term procurement and category strategies
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across cost, risk, ESG, and innovation
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver seamless procurement outcomes
- Uphold procurement integrity and compliance with policies and legislation
- Proven experience in procurement or category management (mining industry experience highly desirable)
- Be agile in your mindset, and be able and willing to pivot across focus areas.
- Have the ability to work autonomously.
- Relevant qualifications or professional membership (e.g., CIPS)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
