Industry

An established, national law firm is seeking a People & Development Advisor to join its people team, based in Perth. The firm operates across multiple Australian capital cities and employs more than 900 people nationally. It is known for its collaborative culture, professional environment and strong focus on delivering value to clients while supporting employee development and wellbeing.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a People & Development Advisor to join a national People & Development function within a well-regarded professional services firm.

The successful candidate will work closely with both Perth-based and interstate stakeholders, providing end-to-end people and HR support to a Perth office of approximately 110 employees. The role is supported by a broader national team, including People & Development Administrators and a Recruitment Coordinator, and reports to a senior people leader.

The position offers a broad generalist scope, combining operational HR support with exposure to strategic people initiatives.

It is well suited to a HR professional or Talent/Recruitment specialist looking to step into a role with increased responsibility.

K ey Responsibilities

Working closely with senior leaders and the national people team, responsibilities include:
  • Supporting recruitment and selection activities, including interviewing and proactive candidate sourcing
  • Preparing and contributing to business cases to support hiring decisions
  • Coordinating and delivering annual graduate and early-career recruitment campaigns
  • Supporting performance review and remuneration processes, including reporting and audit activities
  • Providing practical, commercially focused HR advice to leaders and employees
  • Acting as a key point of contact for people-related matters within the Perth office
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a confident, approachable and commercially minded professional with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in people and culture. Prior experience in professional services or the legal sector is not essential, and candidates from a range of industry backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
