Management Accountant | Make Your Mark in a Great Family Business
South of the River | Operational Finance | WA Business
We’re looking for someone with a great can-do attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine willingness to roll up their sleeves and get involved. Someone who builds relationships easily, asks the right questions, and can turn numbers into clear, practical insights for the wider business.
Hunter Manning is partnering with a well-established Western Australian family business to find a Management Accountant who wants more than a number-crunching role. This is a business with genuine heart — a close-knit team, strong values, and a culture where people are known, supported, and encouraged to contribute ideas.
You won’t be a small cog in a large corporate machine; you’ll have real visibility, a voice, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact.
The opportunity
You’ll join a friendly, hands-on finance team and take ownership of month-end management reporting, costing, and operational analysis across the business.
Your work will go straight to the heart of the operation — analysing costs, inputs, performance, and key drivers, and helping leaders understand what’s driving results. No two days will look quite the same, and you’ll have plenty of scope to dig into interesting questions and provide insights that genuinely matter.
You’ll also play a key role in improving the Excel models and workbooks the team relies on, making processes smarter, cleaner, and more efficient.
Be part of something bigger
With a system upgrade on the horizon, you’ll learn the business on its current systems first, then have a real say in shaping how the new system is set up.
If you enjoy improving the way things work — not just reporting on them — this is a great opportunity to build your commercial finance experience while making a genuine contribution to the business.
