Reporting to the GM Finance (with an interim reporting line to the Executive General Manager Finance & Shared Services), this is a newly established leadership role designed to bring dedicated project management capability into the Finance team, while also owning and delivering on group-level financial requirements across Australia and internationally.
About the Role
This is a dual-purpose role with genuine scope and impact. You will lead a small team of finance analysts while taking ownership of both ongoing group finance obligations and a portfolio of finance improvement projects. The work spans the full breadth of the Finance function — from tax and compliance through to ERP, reporting, process improvement and change management.
Based at Head Office, close to Perth Airport, you will work closely with the GM Finance, the EGM Finance & Shared Services, and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to plan, coordinate and deliver outcomes that strengthen the financial operations of the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and delivering a portfolio of finance improvement projects — from scoping and planning through to implementation and embedment
- Taking ownership of group-wide financial obligations including tax, transfer pricing, banking, reporting and compliance across Australia and internationally
- Leading, prioritising and developing a team of two finance analysts (Senior Finance Analyst and Finance Analyst)
- Preparing and maintaining project plans, status reporting, risk and issue logs, and action registers
- Coordinating across Finance, Shared Services, Technology, Risk and Audit functions to ensure aligned and well-governed delivery
- Supporting ERP, systems and process improvement initiatives by coordinating business requirements, testing and implementation activity
- Providing analysis and insights to support the EGM and Executive leadership team
- Managing external vendors, consultants and implementation partners where relevant
- Identifying and driving continuous improvement across Finance processes, controls and ways of working
About You
You are a commercially-minded finance professional who combines strong analytical capability with genuine project leadership experience. You understand how to get things done in complex organisations — managing stakeholders, navigating ambiguity and keeping projects moving without losing sight of governance and quality.
You are equally comfortable leading people as you are rolling up your sleeves on the work itself. Your team will look to you for clear priorities, constructive feedback and the kind of structured, accountable leadership that helps them do their best work.

- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across all levels of an organisation
- Experience leading or coordinating the work of analysts or small teams, including setting expectations, providing direction and supporting development
- Sound judgement, high attention to detail and a disciplined approach to governance and confidentiality
Preferred / Advantageous
- Experience with ERP systems, finance systems implementation or process automation initiatives
- Background supporting finance projects involving controls, reporting or operational change
