Hunter Manning has partner with one of our trusted clients to appoint an experienced Bookkeeper for an ongoing temporary position based near Perth CBD.
  
Details:
  • Start date: 24th November 2025
  • Duration: 7–8 weeks
  • Role: Bookkeeper
  • Rate:$45 per hour + Super
  • Hours: 32–38 hours per week
This is a standalone position where you'll be responsible for the smooth running of the accounting function for a small retail business.
  
Your key duties will include:
  • Data entry of invoices into Xero, including checking against delivery records and approving.
  • Generating supplier pay runs weekly, ensuring accuracy against supplier invoices.
  • Entering and balancing invoices from the main supplier.
  • Performing bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Recording and balancing daily takings.
  • Managing supplier queries via phone and email.
  • End-to-end processing of weekly payroll.
  • Uploading payments and assisting with ad hoc finance duties as required.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounts all-rounder roles (ideally within small business environments).
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliations.
  • Good understanding of accounts payable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Immediate availability and commitment for the full duration of the assignment.
