Hunter Manning are partnering with a well-established, highly regarded organisation to recruit a hands-on Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team. This is a hands-on position where you will take ownership of the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, while playing an active role in a system implementation and process improvement initiative.
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end accounts payable processing (invoices, payments, reconciliations)
- Supporting the implementation of a new AP/finance system, including testing, process mapping, and user adoption
- Assisting with the transition from weekly to monthly AP cycles
- Ensuring accurate banking and transaction processing
- Investigating and resolving supplier queries in a timely manner
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Exposure to or involvement in system implementations or process transformation projects
- Experience working across multiple entities or complex environments
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
