Hunter Manning are partnering with a well-established, highly regarded organisation to recruit a hands-on Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an upcoming systems implementation and AP transformation, where your input will directly influence how the function operates moving forward.

The role
This is a hands-on position where you will take ownership of the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, while playing an active role in a system implementation and process improvement initiative.

Key responsibilities include:
  • End-to-end accounts payable processing (invoices, payments, reconciliations)
  • Supporting the implementation of a new AP/finance system, including testing, process mapping, and user adoption
  • Assisting with the transition from weekly to monthly AP cycles
  • Ensuring accurate banking and transaction processing
  • Investigating and resolving supplier queries in a timely manner
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
About you
  • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role
  • Exposure to or involvement in system implementations or process transformation projects
  • Experience working across multiple entities or complex environments
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Professional, resilient, and comfortable working in high-expectation environments
  • Full, unrestricted Australian working rights
