The Role
As an Accounts Officer, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and play a key role within the team.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Handling the full end to end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Processing high volumes of invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner
- Preparing and reconciling bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Responding to supplier and customer queries professionally and promptly
- Supporting the finance team with month-end journals, reconciliations, and reporting tasks
- Providing ad hoc assistance across the finance function as required
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in their ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
You will bring:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Confidence using accounting systems and strong Excel skills
- Systems Experience - desired but not essential PRONTO and SAP
