This is a broad, hands‑on accounting role with variety and ownership. You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager and support the business with accurate reporting, sound financial insights, and a willingness to help wherever needed.
About the Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Full month‑end support including P&L review, balance sheet recs, accruals, prepayments, journal preparation/checking, and monthly variance/expense analysis
- Operational accounting responsibilities such as revenue analysis, overhead allocation, intercompany recs, insurance data, cashflow monitoring etc
- Systems and process support including integrating accounting data into the budgeting system and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
- Oversight of AP coordination, credit cards, and providing AR cover when needed, plus day‑to‑day guidance for the Accounts Assistant.
- Someone who wants long‑term stability, not a stepping stone.

- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work.
- Confident communicator who can explain numbers to the wider business.
- Good Excel capability (must be comfortable with pivot tables).
